Default Dog eating wolves

A few years ago I started a thread about a bull moose attaching my dogs in their kennel. But this is much more lethal. It shows how different life is on the last frontier, even in our small city. Wolves eat dogs every winter here in Alaska, but taking them while they are on a walk with their owners is something I've never heard of before. I'm thinking of X-C skiing with my dogs in the mountains this weekend. I'll be packing a little extra heat if I do. Check this out and let me know what you think!

I'd definitely pack heat up there.

I'm starting to think about it here, since coyotes have been murdering pets around here recently. And not far from where I live.

I can picture walking out behind my shop to take a whiz in the snow and getting jumped by one of those damned things. :-\

As far as I know, no one has been attached by a truely wild wolf here in Alaska. A few years ago a child was attached by a wolf at a logging camp. The wolf had been hanging around the camp and had been fed. Dogs on the other hand appear to be fair game.

I love it when the grammar nazi makes an error. That was a spelling mistake, not a grammar error.

And what ever happened to our spelling checker?

damn geeks
