Re: New Infiniti G37

2004/5 we bought a pair of '04 TLs in Oct 2004

I actually traded mine in for a Nissan Titan LE in Nov 2005 -the dealer asked me what I liked about the TL, I said "everything" and he said "so why do you want to trade it in?" and my answer was simply "it doesn't have a truck bed"

Wife still has hers - has about 55K on it now... we never had any issues with either aside from the stock tires wearing out too early (got the dealer to pay for 2 of 4 new) and front brakes wearing a little early (dealer did for free).

as for the Titan - it's been real good too, only down side to it is gas mileage and the ride can be a little rough + plus some squeaks & rattles, but hey - it's a freakin truck

Re: New Infiniti G37

I am so glad I did not wait for that car to get released before I bought my new car...It really does not look that much different. I am a bit disappointed when I heard about it...

Looking forward to the VW R36 here in the US...

Re: New Infiniti G37

it's so funny how different people have different takes on the same cars....

i test drove the '06 G35 coupe and it was one of the best rides i'd had in a while.. the sedan is ugly, looks like a souped up maxima whereas the coupe was like a boner on wheels

Beemers haven't done anything for me since the mid 90s... 2002? that's about it for them. The rest are just overdone.

But that G35? Man...

Re: New Infiniti G37

have you driven the NEW sedan?

i like it much better than the old one. the interior materials have improved, but IMO they are still not yet on par with the competition.

yes, i have.. it drives just fine it just looks like every other 4-dr sedan out there. of course it shares design cues with the coupe, but the butt-end just looks terrible to me.. i think i liked the sedan until i saw the coupe.. i think the designers came out with the coupe first and were told by the bean-counters to make a sedan as well.. it just looks like an afterthought
