Default Does anyone have a triple tree removal tool to lend to PJs?

So my bike is still at PJs, two weeks later....

the lower triple tree can't be removed until the center nut (the one with all the small holes on top of your triple) can be removed. Someone borrowed PJ's tool and hasnt returned it.

Do any of you happen to have one of those they can borrow for 10 minutes?

A pair of needle nose and some muscle will get it off too. I have an advanced redneck engineering degree though, you may not want to try this at home. also known as a R.E.D.neck
You know what? Now that I'm thinking about it.... it may have been to tight to get off that way.... it could be I used an allen wrench to bust it loose.

I am crossin my toes and fingers and....

but, the hardest part is left to do though...the mounting of the top damper via tapping into the triple. Can they do it? What are the odds?

That is UN-FREAKING-BELIEVABLE... wow.. I've always thought they were better than that... WTF is that all about? Guess that just reassures me that doing my own service work is going to have to be the norm.. they can do the crap that involves the Ducati scan tool.. other than that, I'm on my own... I dont wanna be bikeless for a month if its someone elses fault.. if its my fault then at least I know I can take my own blame! GEEZ I'm sorry to hear that.

This is why most shops don't lend out their tools. I can't even belive they lent out a tool. Your tools are your business in this trade.
