Default 4/26 (Saturday) NH -> VT Ride

The weekly ride series continues!

We had a great time last week, and this week we'll be starting in Hollis NH and heading out towards RT 9 / RT 100 and some other exciting spots in VT. I have not had the opportunity to scout the roads in person in southern VT yet this season, so if the roads get shady we will double back and go to some familiar favorites in NH Grin

Who: You!
What: Another of my epic most-of-the-day rides through backroads and windy routes!
Where: NH and VT
When: This Saturday at the intersection of RT 122 and RT 130, Hollis NH - 9:00AM.

Like last week's ride this will be a moderately quick pace and will be approximately 250-300 miles.

If you'd like to join, please respond to this thread so we can get a quick headcount. Additionally, we will either be having a quick breakfast at Dunkin Donuts or going to the Hollis Country Kitchen (which is awesome) - please let me know which you'd prefer as well so we can get a consensus.

Thanks! Hope to see you Saturday.

-Adam

PS: One possible route that Omar and I have been cooking up ...

I'm hoping to join the festivities if I can crank out enough work before then.

I'll be there, but might have to break off early.

I'll have a quart of oil coming with me this time. :

Relax your grip on the bars (pretend you're holding them the way you would a screwdriver, your elbows will naturally bend in as well). Also, grip the tank with your legs...

And DesmoTull is heading up from Medford, Q from Somerville (if applicable) and Fromario from "The Steele" (Lexington)

I dont know about palms, but my wrists will hurt if i am leaning on the bars too much... i make a concerted effort to use my back and legs to keep my hands "light"... but after 4 hours of riding that is tough to keep up
