Pro faster track time.
Con price, it's what turned me off. $3800 after goodies and shipping. Then I have to install. I saw set for an S4R for $2100 on ebay. I believe their rear brake allows for easier adaptation and a wider selection. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, that's how motowheels explained it to me. Ask them they were helpful.

I'd rather have a S2R with CF wheels than a S4R personally...

(based on the difference between a 750 with mg wheels and a 900 with regular ones)

yeah I really have a soft spot for the air cooled motor and would be tempted to put the carbon wheels on my 800 the s4r looks abit of a mess when compared to the air cooled engines.Thats not to say that I wouldn,t go the s4r way yet to ride one still but Iam sure 120 hp cant be fun still would like to here from anyone who has done this mod also will the carbon wheels get anymore damaged when changing tyres my white wheels have got a few marks from replacing the tyres

Why don't you try an S2r 1k then? They have about 90hp.....and with pipes, some tuning, and maybe high comp pistons with 94+ octane you could get to S4r power levels and keep your air cooled goodness.

I hear what you're saying though, i have two '01 M900s and i love 'em. Favor the Cromo bit though, chicks like to fix their hair in their reflection in the tank.
