Re: WTB: monster in midwest(Louisville, KY)
I have been thinking of selling my 96 M900 with 13xxx miles, I have shoulder and neck problems and I really need a more upright bike. I live on the Southside of Indianapolis. Within the past 2 years I have adjusted the valves, rebuilt the forks, new front pads, new front tire, dyna coils from CCW, corbin seat, clear tail light, smaller clear turn signals, K&N air filter, K&N crankcase breather, removed emissions, fabricated a custom clutch cover and rear hugger and cored the pipes. I'm sure there are other things I am forgetting. The bad is the right side of the tank is dented. And I have been chasing a carb problem. I have replaced every component in the carbs and it still is not right. I can not get all of the fuel circuits to behave properly. I wish I would have know about the FCR carbs before I spent a lot of money on rebuilding the mikuni carbs. Anyway the bike needs the FCR carbs to run properly, $800 from CCW. And the battery is not wanting to start the bike this spring without a jump. With the way the carbs are acting right now I'm not sure if would want to ride it to Louisville. I have $2800 in the bike and would like to get that out of it.
Thanks,
Jamey
