i moved out of nyc last January bike was running when i left nyc
went back to NYC in AUGUST and it would not start .
was only in nyc for a week and was busy moving so i had no time to
deal w bike. IT is a great bike that just needs a little love and will run again. maybe as simple as the battery is dead. (battery was bought under a year ago so should just need a good charge).
I CANT BE THERE WITH THE BIKE TO SHOW IT - its under a cover outside my doorman building so that you can go and view it .-
bike is sold as is. keys and title are in california. will send to friend to do exchange.

actually it really isn't that interesting. that is why i am selling it cheaper then i would have if i was local to the BIKE. i don't want to bother my friend with showing it. i want my friend to meet BUYER with the keys and signed title and make an easy exchange for CASH- EXCEPTED OFFER.
someone is going to get a great deal by this SUNDAY.
due to huge response i will not wait 2 weeks anymore.

So I bought this bike, but a battery and new plugs in it, and she started right up - she idled fine...

I had no problem with the plates (VIN # was squeaky clean) but I had to relube a sticky throttle and replace footpegs and mirrors before attempting to ride to gas station to put fresh gas in. So today I got all of this taken care of....... AND NOW IT WON"T START!!!!!


It will start for a couple seconds on choke and then die. Seems like a carb issue, or maybe bad gas? any ideas? I really don't want to have to get into the carbs if avoidable, and it was idling fine a couple weeks ago. I have changed the fuel filter.
