I have a 2001 Ducati Monster S4 that has about 13,500 miles. All major services were preformed at ducati dealerships, with its 12,000 mile service being preformed about a year and a half ago. The only thing "wrong" with the bike is a cosmetic tiny scratch on the right side of the tank, which occurred in the shop when they were replacing the internals for the fuel injection system. There is a piece of carbon fiber red tape covering it, so it is barely noticeable. You can't even see it in the pictures because it is so small, really a minor minor flaw.
The bike has new high mount Arrow Exhaust slipons on it, literally bought less then a month ago. It has the standard carbon fiber that the S4's have, as well as a completely open clutch cover. It looks pretty nice. I also have an open sprocket cover on it.
Where ever you go with this machine, you will have everyone's attention. She rumbles and really is a crowd pleaser. This was my first monster, and I can say, that if I get free time again, I will definitely be buying another bike similar to the S4 if not another S4. I just hate to see it all alone in my garage when someone else can be enjoying it.
Right now I only have a picture showing when I had the exhaust off and was putting it on. I will add more pictures after the bike comes back from the shop with the new tires/chain.
Included in the sale will be a factory service manual, all records, and all 3 keys.
I am asking about $5,700 for the bike or best offer. The blue book for it is about $7500 without the new tires, chain, sprockets, and exhaust, so I believe this is a fair price as it will be in perfect condition upon the sale with new tires/chain so no need to visit the shop for a long time. I am open to offers.
The picture has a lot of flare from the sun, so around august 20th, when I have the bike back at my house, I will have about 20 more pictures put up as well as a video or two of the bike going up and down a road. This picture is without the exhaust on it.
