S4r, 2004
Hey everyone glad to see some riders in nashville. I will be picking up my first ducati next week. 2004 S4R, Navy /white strip and wheels. I do have one question about one mechanical problem on the bike. Should the rear hub be able to move 90 degrees forward when you put it in gear. When in grear with the motor off you can roll the bike forward about 90 degrees before the wheel stops, due to it being in gear. Seems like something is missing inside the rear hub of the swing arm. The current owner is going to bring it to ducati to have them look at it before I hand him a check. The bike only has 4200 miles. Thank you for any help and look forward to meeting everyone.
