Default How did you get your Monster in MI?

Hi, everyone,,

I am a rookie who want to ride a monster.
I live in Ann Arbor and am a female grad student.. ^^;;

Still considering to get a recent/new/used monster 600 level, not much higher one.

I checked the cragslist and ebay and so on..

My question is how you guys get your monster.
From dealer, then which dealer? or by private?

If you recommend anything, I really appreciate it.

Have a great day~!

Yunju.

Hey Yunju,

I bought my 2nd monster used from an add placed here on the DML in the bikes for sale section. My first one came from Life Cycle in Kalamazoo Mi. In my opinion the better deal came from buying the 2nd one used....just be careful as always on who you are dealing with.

Jay..

Thank you for your advices,

I bought 2005 Monster 620 Dark on private sales.
I love my Duc which I called Toma.

Previous owner was first owner. But she didn't ride as much.
2005 but it has almost 600miles.

I took Toma to Shop for first maintenance service.
Oil filter had some problem, but they fixed it for free.

I would love to ride with other Duc~!
I need to learn. ^^;

Bought mine used out of Pennsylvania. Then the dealer traded in the same bike, but stock no upgrades. I bought my bike for less than what they wanted for a used bike, although it did have 2,000 less miles. But I didn't buy it to let it sit.
