Default Looking for custom exhaust

Do any of you know where I could have a custom exhaust made locally. I would really like to visit someone who can do it. I know ARC can do it, but it wouild be easier to be able to talk to someone face to face to discuss what I have in mind.

Thanks,
Matt

I liked to find one myself. I'm from the west coast (Cali) and I'm used to finding everything you need out there for bikes. Here, nothing :-\. We're lucky to have a Duc dealer here in Michigan. I have a buddy that owns a muffler shop, but I don't think he really does any kind of custom bike exhausts. I'll talk to him in the next coupla weeks. If you find someone, get back to us [thumbsup]. good luck hunting -Harry

Thanks Harry. I need to find some custom bike builders. I only know of two, Voodoo and the Detroit Brothers. I'm sure there are more around. If the section 8 guys were around, they could do it.

Even if the shop is no more, the section 8 guys are around somewhere. I'm sure for an arm and a leg you could get Detroit Bros to whip something up for you.

What I mean to say is I'd be interested too.

I noticed that on TT's website it mentiond the 2 techs do fabrication. I'm going to talk to them and see what they say. When Section8 was around, they were going to build me the exhaust they had on their s4r showbike for 1k. They,Bill, dicked me around a little, so I( never bought my bike there and never went back. I'll let you guys know what I come up with.

Me neither. I was there last week and would like to have talked to them. I'm curious to know how they have a 1098 on the floor. Is it sold, didn't see a sold sign on it. I think you shold be able to take it ;D

they had a 1098 standard prepped in the back that I was able to sit on. the "S" is still on the pedestal in the front.

I can core your cans for you if your looking for a service. I have done a few DML members from out of state, and everyone has been happy. If your interested, go check out the misc. section or do a search under can coring. I have cored cans and desmoworld header pipes on my S2R1000. The cored cans sounds fantastic, and the cored cans without the converter are loud and yummy! [laugh] If you want to drop them off, you can hear my bike, or we can go down to my neighbors and you can hear his S2R800 dark with just my cored cans and stock converter. I can both S2R highmount cans and the older style low mount cans. I work for an exhaust supplier in detroit, so I do some of the work in our prototype shop. Stock length and looks. Great sound!

I'm looking for an alternative to the Quat-D Ex Box. Kinda want something under the bike. Kinda similar to the Section8 monster show bike, if your familiar with that.
