Default Winter Mods

With all of this snow pouring over Michigan, I've spent a few pennies on some mods for my bike. Here is a list of new things I'll be adding to my bike over the next month:

Rizoma Rearsets (from TT)
Sargent Seat (from Motostrano)
Full Zard Exhaust (from loudbikes, thanks Anthony!)
Carbon Fiber beer tray, chain guard and key guard
Clear blinkers (from clear alternatives)

I'm excited about the louder exhaust system and better ergonomics for my 6'4" body. It's definitely going to look slick with the new carbon fiber pieces. Within a month, I should have a before-after pics of the bike. This also leaves me selling my current LeoVince full exhaust system and stock seat off my S2R 800. If anyone is interested, drop me a PM.

Anyways, it's going to be mid-40s next week. Riding season is on the way...

~Matt

Just minor things this winter. Case saver and a 14T sprocket.

14 tooth sprocket is a great mod, you're going to love the pull in 1st/2nd and 3rd!

All of this talk of mods makes me want to ride that much more! Spring is coming, and when we hit the road, it's going to sound like thunder! Can't wait until warm weather!

Went to TT today on a whim and left with a lighter wallet. Picked up a CF hugger and a billet sprocket cover. I told myself that I wasn't going to buy anything but couldn't control myself. Now I'm rationalizing my puchase by saying "At least I didn't buy a 1098 like Harry." Now you have to go through with the 1098 purchase or I'll feel like a total modaholic.

I've done that a few times Pete. Sucks, but is well worth it when you stand back, look at your bike and think... 'now that's damn sexy!'.

I took off my hugger yesterday. I also started with the spools on the swingarm. I got one done, but I couldn't get the left exhaust can off. I have no idea why it won't come off, but I was running out of time so I just left it on. Maybe I'll get around to it next weekend.
