Default Section 8 Superbike?

I know they weren't in Detroit, but I was wondering if any of you guys knows what became of them. I'm asking because I have a suspension guide they wrote and wanted to get their permission to post it.

Thanks,
Michael

They closed shop and went out of business a few months ago.

Thanks for the info. It looks like some squatters took over their web domain.

Check with Jake over at Ducsunlimited.com. He was their parts guy, he may still have a copy. I'll do a little research, I heard a rumor that the guy who was the suspension specialist is opening his own business.

Found some info on another board and PM'd Michael with web and email address'. Hopefully he'll get a positive response. Just in case anybody else wants to check out what Jason's up to here's his new, but incomplete site. http://departmentofsuspension.com/

Ouch, this is bad news. I had section 8 do my 600 mile service and I was hoping they would be around for future service. Looks like I need to figure out how to do valve adjustments on my DS1000 motor. Does anyone know what oil they used? I was gonna change my oil and filter this spring with the same stuff they used. I remember one of the guys telling me it was a synthetic and it was not the Shell oil that came in the bike.

I have never had my oil changed there, but I talked to Bill once at a motorcycle show and he said they used Mobil1 10W40. He must have been refering to Mobil1 MX4T, which I guess is now called racing 4T. Check out the oil thread in the faq section.
