Default Chain rubbing with frame - S4RS

I just purchased an S4RS and noticed that the chain is rubbing against the frame and has removed some of the paint and maybe some of the metal. The chain appears to be correctly adjusted. Any ideas if there could be anything else causing this other than the chain alignment? Thanks a lot.

Default

do you mean the frame of the swingarm?

sometimes when you hit a few heavy bumps, the chain may connect with the swingarm.

This happened to my bike and has happened to others I know.

I stuck some old inner-tube rubber to the part of the swingarm where it is most likely to connect.
