Attention New racers (MO especially)
This is an official where and when for your guys on your first weekend (event)
Friday May 2, 2008
If you did not attend the Orientation Class in March:
You are to be in the Racers Lounge at 7:00 am.
The racers lounge is in the 2 story building at the end of the paddock, it runs perpendicular to the Straight
Away, you are to go up the stairs to the 2nd Floor.
If you did attend the Class in March:
You are to meet at 9:30 am at the Base of the Racer's Lounge Building for the Track Ride in Pickup Trucks.
After the track ride you guys will join the others in Class for the part we did not get to in March.
If you are volunteering to Drive a bunch of Newbies around the track in your pickup (yes we need volunteers), please assemble with your (empty) Pickup truck at the base of the Racer's Lounge building at 9:20am
11:20 am
All Instructors meet at the Pumps to pick up their student Group
11:25 am
All New Riders, that have been registered, have a number, and have passed tech with their bike and eqiupment (helmets, boots, gloves, leathers) assemble with their Instructor at the gas pumps (yes we will show you where this is).
11:30 am
New riders on track for their first time with Instructors
Note: As you can see Friday is a Busy Morning. DO NOT BE LATE!. We do not have time to stop and go back because someone over slept. If you want to complete this course on Friday May 2nd, 2008 (and not June 13th, 2008) PLEASE be on time.
Tech is open Thursday night, so the best method is to get to the Track and get your bike, and gear through Tech Thursday evening, so that Friday morning all you have to do is go to class, check your tire pressures, and "Just ride the motorcycle".
You have about 3 days to finish up any bike prep, equipment checklists, and get ready to go. THis will be the most hectic event of YOUR Racing Career, so be as prepared as you can ahead of time.
Good Luck to all of you, See ya Bright and Early Friday Morning.
PS We are definitely going to blame all of you for any inclimate weather, well, because IT'S YOUR FAULT!
