Ducati Service in Minneapolis?
I have a 2003 800 dark (fuel injected) that was really starting to act up during the end of last season. It seemed like no gas was getting through (clogged injectors, fuel filter, carburetor? I really have no idea) it wouldn't even idle. I live in uptown and went to Manley to get my 6000 mile service done but they said that they were no longer going to be doing street bike repair. I was wondering if there is anywhere closer/better/cheaper to go to than Motoprimo?

Re: Ducati Service in Minneapolis?
where are they? I used to go to Manley. Was considering Primo in Minneapolis becasue one of the guys in the service department hooked me up with some free oil once.

Motoprimo closed in Minneapolis. It's only the Lakeville location now.

Re: Ducati Service in Minneapolis?
It was nice for us Uptowners to walk to pick up our bikes though... I've got mine in winter storage just blocks from my house, but can't get service there for the Duc. I know Silverback are more focused, but for basic work and convenience what about Roy's?

What/who is Roy's?
I've heard of all the other shops. Don't know that one.

Re: Ducati Service in Minneapolis?
Silverback is a great choice.
Tom Manley is still doing work. He's actually working out of Roy's repair. He's rebuilding forks for me right now.
erik822, Roy's is a half block away from where the Mpls. Primo was.

Re: Ducati Service in Minneapolis?
Silverback might be the better option for me than going to Lakeville. I'll be in Andover and could just take 10 all the way out there.
What do you recommend if I want to upgrade to a new bike? Who are the best people to deal with or better yet- is there anyone you would avoid working with? I love my 620, but need a little bit more power to move me around(I ate too much Mexican food and BBQ in Texas)

What are you looking for? Another Ducati, or something different?
The only Ducati-franchised dealers in the Metro area are Motoprimo (Lakeville) and Delano Motorsports. However, there is a pretty brisk market in used Ducatis on MPLS Craigslist...
