Some pretty cool stuff there. Ducati had a nice-lookin' white 848 and a new M696 on display. I would've liked to sit on the 696, but they had it on a display and didn't want anyone to sit on it.
I felt a strange, unfamiliar attraction to the bikes at the BMW booth... :-\ > k1200r and k1200s are calling me

I'm with you the BMW 650 dirtbike-enduro bike is awesome. The guy who shares my garage has a gs1200 and I've gotten to take it out a few times. It's great. It's alot like getting on a horse, really high up and when you get to a stop it's alot of weght to hold up with your toes if you have less than a 34"+ inseam. But who buys a bike to stop [laugh] The thing is built like a tank and I want to take one to South America some day and fish the whole way. It can put the hammer down on alot of bikes too and handles great. I am pretty obsessed with them.

Ducati's booth was HUGE from the outside, but once you actually go in to the room where the bikes were it was pretty small. I'd rather they had a more open booth with more bikes.
And Triumph doesn't even have a stand. They don't go to motorcycle shows? Seriously? That was a pretty big shock for me.

I agree about Ducati's booth -- it looks huge on the outside but is definitely a bit cramped on the inside. Trying to maintain an air of exclusivity, maybe? Overall, I liked BMW's booth layout/look much better than Ducati's.
