Here is my deal. I have a 2000 Ducati Monster 750. It has just over 40,000 miles on it and runs good. It has a rebuilt salvage title from the original owner, and has over 35000 miles since it was issued. It does have some dings or marks on it and is not a show bike by any means. It also did tip over this summer at work, so the right side engine cover has some scrapes on it, but is only cosmetic. Other than that, it is mechanically sound. Lots of fun for a low horsepower bike. Lists are cool, so heres whats going on...
Vortex clip-ons
Road Racing under engine exhaust (made only for a 900’s but a shop modified it to fit)
Single Bar end mirror
Smaller than stock turn signals
Custom license plate holder
Pilot Powers: 2500 on front 1000 on rear.
Oil and filter changed recently (K&N filter and Amsoil full synthetic)
I have new belts as they need replacing.
Valves should be checked soon. I planned on doing the belts and valves this winter.
Stainless lines all around
rear brake pads with >500 miles
Fronts pads done 5,000 ago
Carbs gone through last summer and replaced diaphrams and emulsion tubes (dang carb parts expensive!!)
Has rear cowl and side covers
pulled the clutch this spring and everything was within spec
tail light lense cover needs replacing. somehow fell off.
14 tooth currently on...have 15 tooth
Have a new X-ring chain ready to install. (winter once again)
Newer rear shock to be installed (sitting in a box)
Not sure on price yet as it is almost winter, but i dont have a problem sitting on it till spring if need be. Interested in trades also. I am looking for a 1999 and up 900ss, SV1000, triumph speed four or daytona 600, fz6, ktm duke 2, maybe a monster 900?? You get the idea of what i am looking for. salvage title is fine if everything is straight.
Forgot to mention that I am in mankato, and the bike is currently in LaCrosse for the winter. I do get around, so depending on where, delivery should be an option.
Let me know if anyone is interested.
Dave.
