Looks like it is going to be perfect. Have fun. Go by yourself and check out those alphabets if you have to. If you haven't been over there yet I have some suggestions. ;D

My bike is still hobling along on its busted Achilles heel. Otherwise i would definitely be up for a long ride on such a beautiful day.

Enjoy and be safe. [thumbsup]

I had the family commitment a couple weeks ago so no problem. I want to get a good ride in Saturday before I put the bike up for the winter and start the big teardown.

I ended up changing my mind and I am going to pull her apart and clean her up this winter. I found a place that says they podwer coat motorcycle frames for @ $150 if all the prep work is done and the frame is my biggest priority since it's chipped and has those stupid holes in it. I haven't found a place for the tank yet but if I pull it off and sand it down I can't believe it will be too terribly expensive.

Anyway, the invite's open to anyone else who want's to get out this weekend.

My left arm is tired from doing the wave so many times. LOTS of bikes out today. It was a great day to be out. I ended up sticking to old 35 in Wisconsin because I didn't want to risk getting lost in the wilderness. I got a late start so there wasn't much traffic on the way out but the way back was a different story. Ruined my favorite MN road, St Croix Trail south of Afton. That was probably OK though since there was a speed trap there on the way out. Thank you cruiser rider who gave me the slow down wave!!

The tear down starts tomorrow with the exhaust. I'm going to try a few things and see if I can make something kind of cool. I think I'm going to drag my feet getting the motor out just in case I have to ride somewhere.
