The inspection was a joke. They wrote down the frame and engine numbers and took my receipts and records from my replacement parts and sent me on my way. I asked the crabby guy doing the inspection how it looked and he replied "we're just looking for stolen parts, quality is up to you".
I found that I really don't enjoy riding in that area during heavy traffic. The oil temp was up in the 270's during stop and go on 94 and the engine would cough every now and then when I would take off. It went back to normal once I got moving again though. It was still a good day for a ride even with the wind, traffic, and rain in the morning. I put on close to 180 miles.
