Re: Member Roll Call
My name is Mike and I live in Anaheim Hills, CA. I'm already a full on addict, and have gained the dubious experience of doing my own post-crash work on my 3 month old Monster 695 Dark, now affectionately named "The Ugly Duckling", or "UG". I got off bikes when I creamed WWII era Norton I got on trade from a buddy when I was 19, but got back on recently. Can't say enough good things aboutt he board, even the guys I totally disagree with.

The ugly duckling is back on the road. Re: Member Roll Call
Trempeleau, Arcadia are kind of at the extreme end of a LONG day ride from here. From what I've seen most folks from here don't make it down that far too often. Kind of have to leave Mpls. at 6:00 am to get there, ride and get back... or stay the weekend...
Swung through east of La Crosse last fall on the "long" way to Missouri and found the Mindoro Cut and Wildcat Mountain amongst other good stuff... would really like to get down there again for a weekend jaunt or two this summer.
You're lucky to be that close to such good riding.
Welcome back from texass. My wifes dad lived in texass and that's how we always referred to it.

Re: Member Roll Call
cool, we will have to get togeather and ride. there is a pretty big and diverse group of riders in this area. there are about 5 or 6 people i regularly ride with and trust. just let me know when you get to town and want to ride. there are a ton of different rides you can take from holmen. 5 min from town and its in the twisties. i lived in san antonio, the twistie roads were an hour from me, its great to be back. [thumbsup]

Re: Member Roll Call
Hi, my name is Derek and I live in Golden Valley. I've been the proud owner of a 2003 m1000sie for two years now. Before the monster I owned an 02 Honda F4i and before that a ktm 200mxc which I miss dearly. The last few years have been very busy with school, so hopefully now that I will be graduating soon I will have a chance to join up with some of the group for a few rides this summer as well as the famed Notte Italiana.

Re: Member Roll Call
Hiya! ;D
My name is Kent. I currently ride an 2004 1000cc Monster. The learner machine back in 2001 was a 83 650 honda nighthawk. Been dreaming about a monster since i first time I'd laid eyes on one back in 98-99. Back then it was such i exotic idea I thought I'd never have a chance of being a proud owner. Summer of 2004 I rolled my 1st shinny, beautiful, bran-new 800 Monster off the show room floor(named her Viviana) for the most unreal moment of my life, I was living my dream. Last fall I traded in my beloved Viviana (almost cried) for same year 1000cc Monster. Moved all the carbon fiber and gas tank from the 800 to the 1000 and named her Bella (partly cuz a friend gave me a freedom bell to adorn her with). That all took place when i called Big Sur CA home. Now I live in north east Minneapolis, the 1st time I've ever lived in a big city. So thats a little about me.
I look forward to meeting you all and appreciate seeing an active group of monster lovers in the area.
Cheers
Kent

Re: Member Roll Call
Hi,
My name is Eli. I pick up my first Ducati this weekend. It's an 03 620 that I bought off of ebay that needs lots of work to get roadworthy. I live south of Kimball, about 50 miles from the metro area. I've been riding for about 14 years. I currently have an 86 Yamaha Maxim 700X and 2 Yamaha RZ350's. I've loved the look of the Monsters since I first saw one as well. Hopefully I'll have mine going soon.

Welcome.
Congrats on the 620. They're fun bikes.

Re: Member Roll Call
Hi Y'all
My name is Mark, and I ride an 01 900ss. Mostly stock now, but it has fresh bt-021 skins which will have to suffice. I'm a student at Minnesota State, Mankato, and I might need some reinforcements against all the squids riding in t-shirts and flipflops around here. The transmission in my car is shot, so I've been riding everywhere for the last 3 months. Some on the duck, some on an even sweeter whip, my 1985 Rebel 250. Hopefully I can make it up to a Notte Italiana this summer, although Betty's and Bryant Bowl seemed more fitting for someone of my...unrefined...tastes. Ahem :
