High Rock Raceway

has anyone here heard of any progress on this racetrack?? I haven't seen anything about this track ever mentioned on this board. It's in the Salisbury area. It's got 14 turns and it's 2.15 miles long.

I hadn't heard about this. Thanks for the link. Hopefully this'll bring some big time motorsports to NC other than NASCAR. And hopefully they will have some good trackdays as well.

Sorry, I guess I could've mentioned this way back when I first heard about it (last year sometime). Last I heard they started construction without getting any of the required permits (environmental ?) so all progress was halted. Hate to say it but the only professional usage I've read about was a test track for NASCAR teams. I believe they'll be renting it out to clubs too. I really need to suck it up and buy some full leathers.

I met the VP of marketing a month ago at a Ferarri club meeting at my uncles Italian Eatery.... Working on a permanent Press Pass for photos... place is suppose to be tits!!
