Default Matison Motorsports in Raleigh

...will no longer be offering Moto Guzzi and Aprilia. Salesman said that they can't get Piaggio to pay them for warranty work. ??? :

Anyone know more?

Crap that sucks! I almost bought a Griso from them. Glad I didn't and went with the Monster. [thumbsup]
So one of two problems as I see it being in the auto industry.
1) Financial problems from Piaggio with Aprillia and Guzzi. That's possible since Guzzi and Aprilla have been struggling for years.
or
2) The person who files the warranty claims sucks and does not file them correctly according to the manufactures guidelines. Then the manufacture refuses to pay and you have to keep appealing them over and over and over. Don't ask how I know this. [cheeky]

JJ
my 2 cents

Damn. That's 6 less bikes in their inventory that I won't be told not to sit on by a silly yellow sign. I'm heartbroken. :-\

Nyaa....I didn't sit on anything. I just don't like the sign. It's not like I'm all bitter about it, it's just a joke.

Yeah that sucks about Aprilia. I definitely enjoyed killing time in there. The SM's are sweet.

Is Interstate at Lake Norman the only one that carries them now?

I thought I heard a rumor that they were going to start carrying the KTM street line.

Apparently they have carried just about every marque. Seems like the Jap bikes are the only brands to have stayed. I hope they continue with Ducati. A few years ago they made out like they were gonna stock everything Ducati. I guess they have some stuff, and more bikes than Barnetts.
