Won't be riding much this year

I know I am kinda new to the board, but I thought I would let you guys know that I am going in to Duke on March 19th to have open heart surgery on a preexisting condition. I was born with a heat defect and had surgery when i was 2. At the time they said i should be good for the rest of my life. Well almost >. Anyways I am truly fine this is optional surgery for me and its more about my quality of life as I get older. The good news is I should be much healtier and stronger once I have recovered. The down side is it takes several months to recover. I am not sure how long till I can ride my bike. It will be a while till my chest and muscles are completely healed and I have all my upper body strength back. I hope by late summer or fall I should be back riding again. I will try and make the next Italian meet since it could be my last ride for a while :-[ . I don't usually blat my personal stuff like this. I just thought I would let you know why I am not around as much. I will still be on line (probably way too much while I am recovering) and I might meet up in my car to some events

Ok I am back!!!! I survived [thumbsup] . I have been home for a few days now and am starting too feel better but I still have a long recovery road ahead. Anyways I should be on the internet allot more since I can't drive for 6 weeks!!!! I am just stuck at home for now.
