in about 6 months. Any riders near Camp Lejeune? I applied for a billet at the Field Medical Service School. Hope to be teaching there this summer...

i live 25 minutes south of Jacksonville. there are a few (very few) ducati's that i see from time to time. the closest dealer is 2 hours away and the roads on the coast are sadly uninspiring. but the beach is wonderful and you are 5+ from the blueridge so it isn't all bad.

Well, I got my orders today. I will be coming to the area sometime around June. I will be stationed at Camp Lejuene. Looking for housing in the area...

So, any recommendations for houses in the area? I don't mind a small commute (30-45 mins) and I have been advised not to live in Jacksonville itself...

I live in Hampstead NC (zip 28443 for google purposes) it is about 35+ minutes from Jacksonville. we go that way about every2 months it doesn't seem all that bad but it is a military town(used to live in Groton CT, a navy town) there is a ton of new construction down this way and it is right off the beach.

If you want email me your address and I'll send you some realestate literature for this and the Jacksonville area. If you are going to come out this way for house hunting give me a yell and i can hook you up with our realestate agent he was one the most decent people i have ever dealt with.

One down side is the roads down here are not the most exciting i have ever riden. but home is were your heart is so here i am.
