Default 749 on Hillsborough St.

Hey guys,

I'd been seeing a 749 dark in front of one of those tatoo shops on hillsborough st. in raleigh.
Just noticed he stripped the front down to bare lights and put some crazy looking blue graphics on it.
It looks pretty nasty.... I like it. I really want the headlight set up for my monster..... does anybody know of anybody who tryed it....... saw a post in the accessories and mod section but no one could figure out what the setup was...

Oh yeah.... i have been surfing the site for a while now but not posted much.... My name is Joe and I go to N.C. State...... so if anybody around town wants to go for a ride.... just let me know.... I drive the yellow 98 monster.... I just got carbon pipes.... so i am sure someone has seen me around

Joe,

I see you every time I walk by the motorcycle parking behind Broughton. I hadn't seen the blue graphics on the 749 dark but I had seen that he pulled the front bodywork off.

Sorry to thread jack, but I cruise the bike parking lots around NCSU between classes on a daily and for the longest time I was wondering if the owner of that bike was on/knew about the DML. I noticed you got new carbon pipes recently, they look nice.

Did you used ot live in U-suites with 2 other guys that rode? I always used to see a yellow 750 and some jap bikes parked near the club house. Anyways, nice bike man.

I would suggest that we go for a ride soon, but im working on trying to get one and my license.

Hey guys, yeah Marks bike is sick now! He cut up the fairings and painted it because some assholes tried to steal it recently. As soon as they realized they couldnt do anything with it they beat the shit out of it and left it in his neighbors backyard. Go check it out sometime, he cut off the majority of the side fairings and removed the whole front. It was originally glossy black but he sanded it down and repainted the whole thing. I bought his monster and have been riding it ever since.

Yeah that was me at U suites..... my roommate at the time had the black rr and sold it to our neighbor and bought a 05gsxr 600. Its now basically a track bike and now has a 750 motor in it ..... guess it just wasn't fast enough........ haha

that sucks that they tried to steal his bike.... but i guess they encouraged him to make a pretty unique ride
