Default GD squirells

My nnew bike is now totalled because of a goddamn squirel >

Hit a squirelly and crashed going like 60 on a country road tonight, road rash all over my legs, brand new helmet is messed up, but i'll be ok in not too long.

Walking is extremely hard right now because im sore and very stiff, but the rash into too bad, not as painful as i was expecting it to be.

I hate to hear that, I hope you have a quick recovery. Was there another factor that played in the crash? I.E. hydro ;D

Man sorry to hear that I am glad you are ok.
How did you crash hitting a squirrel? You are suppose to just run over them!

I swerved trying to get out of the way of it, and back wheel hit the center line and I guess I lost traction, I just remember seeing the squirell, and then next thing I remember I woke up laying against a tree with the bike laying in front of me.

Sorry to here that I know from your post how long you've been waiting to get a bike. but like svjj said I would have ran over it. I took on a raccoon one night and kept it up, thought I broke my foot but it just hurt like hell.

Yeah, I didn't see it until it was too late and instinct kicked in and I swerved.

After becoming clear headed and not all adrenaline pumped, I realise now that if I woulda kept going on the same path I would have avoided the squirell completely and come out fine, but of course, that didn't pop into my head until things had already happened.

Damn dude, that sucks. I'm sorry to hear that man.

I'm glad you're alright though.

Have you talked to you insurance company yet?

Yeah, it just takes time and (unfortunately sometimes painful and costly) experience before instinct tells you to do the right thing. :-\

Were still waiting on the police report, but I beleive insurance is checking the bike out on Monday to judge if totalled or not.I'm sortapraying for it to be totalled so I can get something a little more agressive like a CBR or something, but at the same time I want my baby back.

I had some big plans for her.

So the next time something happens like a squirrel running out in front of you you'll be going faster??
