this was before the crash. ;D

the cause of the accident... ;D

that is limey, you guys might remember him, he's posted here a time or 2. ;D Anyways, his bike was around 50 ft down in the woods from where he was standing.

git her out of the woods expect'n the worse, and speedy holds up to a crash fairly well. [thumbsup]

but she lost all of her front brake fluid because something cut the plastic elbow coming out of the master cylinder. So I tip toed her(yeah right ;D) 100 miles back to the house fer some repair work. I didn't have much of a rear brake to work with either as you will see. ;D

front brake...

after our handy work with a solder'n gun and a zip tie fer some plastic welding. [thumbsup]

also broke all of the tabs off of the guages! Luckily, it didn't break the cluster, so we got her back home like this... ;D

then a little epoxy work, and lend limey my guage cluster backing, and he's good to go there! [thumbsup]

now fer that rear brake pedal...

but that's nut'n a torch and vise won't fix! [thumbsup]

wash her up, and she almost looks better than when he arrived. ;D

Damn, glad he's OK! That's an amazingly small amount of damage for such a fall!!!

luckily he didn't follow the bike down in the woods. ;D He stopped about where he is standing, and somehow speedy missed all of the trees as she tumbled down the hill!

That is a sucky way to end a trip, but I'm glad he is ok and made it back home.
