Hey Hooligans,
I'm thinking about throwing the wife on the pillon and shooting up to Indy this weekend. Where is the best place to park the Duc? We will be doing this "seat of the pants"...no parking pass, looking for scalped tix, etc.
Any of you Hoosiers planning on being there?

Bike Parking entrance is off 16th street, through the man entrance, but the Museum.

tickets are easy to find.

I live in Indy. I have been to the race many times. Tickets will be no problem, no scalping laws so guys will be buying and selling tickets everywhere. Parking, I've always had good luck parking on 16th street and walking to the track. Every business and house around the track will let you park there for $10-$20. Its much easier to get in and out if you park outside of the track. I normally hit 16th Street and come in from the East. It seems to be more local traffic that way. Coming in from the West you'll hit more of the out of town traffic. Hope that helps & Have fun at the race!

I've always gone up with someone else who supplied tix, but have noticed that there were plenty of tickets for sale, so not really concerned about that, but did hear that there might be some construction closures to I-65 or other routes downtown and that traffic is being rerouted onto 465, creating a mess. I guess if we hit town by about 9:00am we should be alright though. Thanks for the suggestions on bike parking.
