Yeah, the recall was prior to the sale and it wasn't on consignment. Sage advice about pushing diplomatically. I may farm for any ins with the dealership. Again, I'm not losing count of how lucky I was you guys had this thread up. Thanks for the advice Chris -

You probably know this, but the BAD GS batteries were replaced with good GS batteries with different vent holes. I just want to make sure you have identified it as a bad one correctly.

I would try to get a new battery out of it, but like others have said, it will be a hard sell since the battery if bad is 6 years old, which is really old for a MC battery.

Yeah, the one in my bike had the low vent holes as referenced earlier in the thread. I'll see what I'm able to get out of it while maintaining a sense of realism. Thanks for the help Mitt -
