Now you want the 796, admit it..lol.


Just to make you feel better, soon I'll be handing over $15,790 for the 11,000 set up OTD. I think that's a bit much for what I'm getting, especially since it will be my "beater" bike.

You still should call San Antonio, AMS up in Dallas, and Mototek/Ducati Austin. Talk to Warren in Austin and he told me he might be able to compete with other local dealers and save you a little more money. About 3% is what I've heard. It's not a whole lot but hey maybe it's the TT&L.

But also pay attention to the service aspect. Ask around your local Duc owners and find out which place has the best techs and service. Personally, I'd rather pay a few extra bucks to a place that will stand behind the product and give high quality service, than save a few and wind up with hassles if any warranty work is needed, or that doesn't really know what they are doing and will screw up my bike.
