2012 1100 EVO Service Manual
Do you guys know where I can find one (paying is fine too)?
My dealer says they do not have it (I asked for the 2011 version, which should be fine too). BS?
A copy in Italian would be fine too to me.
I tried to search in every place I can think of, on the net, but my search revealed zarro results.
I really want to do the 600 miles service by myself, but a look at the service manual would be nice to have (plus, I always get service manuals for my bikes).
Example, is removing/cleaning the oil screen a must? Because, AFAICS, to remove the thing would require removing the exhaust.

You get a manual when you buy a new bike, you paid for it at $11999. All they do at 600 miles is change oil/filter and check all the bolts, etc.

Yes, I got the User Manual, of course.
The Service/Workshop Manual is different. It lists all the dis-assembly/re-assembly of pretty much everything, in-spec torque values for the bolts, deeper trouble-shooting tips, etc...

oH... I'm sorry. I just saw manual, looked right over service. The "owners manual" doesn't give you any torque settings.

What the dealer told me, is that Ducati have not made one yet for the 1100 EVO. Not only for the 2012 model, but also for the 2011 (which "should" be the same) model.
Is that BS? I mean, does anyone here ever had or saw a copy of it?

I find that impossible to believe.

What I have been told, via another dealer, is that Ducati stopped selling single-bike service manuals, but they now sell a USB dongle with all the service manuals, of all Ducati, post 1990.
For $390. Not exactly cheap, considering the typical user would not know what to do with the other manuals.

That doesn't surprise me. I just went over 600 miles and they only change the oil/filter and make sure everything is tight (stuff is red loctite, too tight) and reset the rev limiter at 9200 instead of 8800. I was told that the bike doesn't make any more hp/torque past 8200 anyway. I need to know how to turn the "wrench" off on the dash. I don't mind taking in for the 600 mile service if there was more they did for the $260?
