620 acting cold when it's warm

I just had my 6k service done a few hundred miles back, and the bike has started acting funny recently. First of all, it heats up a lot faster than it used to. A 15 min ride on a 75 degree night will get the bike up to 225 degrees. It used to be only hot, stop and go traffic would get it up there. Also, the bike has been 'hiccuping' at low speeds. A lot like if you take it out cold. Even at about 160 degrees I have to set the idle to about 2.5k rpm to get the bike to come off smoothly from a standstill. Any advice??

Sounds similar to when I had a problem with my temperature sensor. I live close to the ocean and corrosion on the electrical contact for the sensor kept it from working. It would start okay cold, but when warm it was reluctant to start and generally ran poorly and fouled plugs.
