2001 M900 Cromo (Chromo or how eva ya wanna pronounce it, cause the DMV sure as hell doesn't know how to label it )

About to turn 30,000 miles and I've done everything myself (except the dyno tune) with some good advice from a few others.

Suspension/Chassis

- SBK forks with race tech valves and Hyperpro springs
- Cyclecat upper triple with shimmed lower
- Hyperpro side mount steering damper
- Ohlins rear with Hyperpro spring
- Aluminum swingarm powder coated black w/ chrome end caps
- 999 sidestand
- Cyclecat frame sliders
- Billet aluminum axle/chain adjusters

Brakes

- Floating cast iron rotors
- Floating rear brake carrier with carbon connecting rod
- CRG shorty levers on the stock "remote" reservoirs (eyeing some radials)

Engine

- Airbox ring
- Pipercross filter
- Powercommander (dynotuned)
- MBP collets
- Nichols lightweight flywheel
- Scott's oil filter (also rebuildable fuel filter)
- DSA belt covers
- Older style pantah valve cover (only bottom of horizontal cylinder)
- DML temp gauge/oil cap
- Ceramic coated headers
- DP Conti style pipes (aka loud mofo's)

Clutch

- 999 basket/plates/hub
- Clutch housing machined to open it up
- Stock pressure plate ceramic coated chromex (getting a Speedymoto as soon as they're producing again)
- Stainless springs (only running 4 for that lighter feel)
- Cyclecat Clutch cover
- Evoluzione clutch slave and spring retainer

Electrical

- Dual headlights (stuffing them with HID's over the winter)
- Euro headlight switch (customized with blue LED to tell me when they're on/off)
- Mini stalk signals (don't remember who makes em)
- Bullet lights in the rear of the frame instead of plugs for the tail chop wired into the signals
- High Tech Speed LED brake light with integrated turn signals;with 40 programable patterns
- Scorpio SR500 alarm with perimeter sensor

Cosmetics/Other bits

- Stock chrome tank had the hinge welded and the inside PORed
- DP seat cowl was polished and the chromed
- Fenders, side covers, gauges and ignition cover are all carbon
- Tail chopped
- Dart flyscreen (1 of 2 made for the dual headlights)
- Napoleon mirrors
- DT sprocket cover
- DT case saver insert

Probably more but that covers most of it.

Sorry, no fashion shots, but you get the idea and not all the mods are present in this pic

1997 Ducati Monster m750, 1 of 100
  • Open airbox conversion
  • DynaJet Stage II jet kit
  • High exit Termignoni 1/2 system
  • MBP collets
  • Evoluzionne crankcase breather
  • Galfer and FrenTubo S/S braided lines throughout
  • Vortex Racing clip-ons
  • Napolean Barens mirrors
  • High temp headlight socket & super juicy HO bulbs
  • Ducati Performance digital tach (blech)
  • LED taillight
  • C/F, Al & Ti this & that eye candy

Coming this winter:
  • Jet-Hot ceramic coated headers
  • Front forks to visit Race-Tech
  • Tweaked rear shock
  • 748 Ohlins steering damper - maybe - doesn't really need it ...
