i know what you meant... if you look at 'em, though, they're not even the same design as the "normal" sssa 10-spokes.

Easiest way is to look at the heads. They are'nt as bulky as the S4R heads.

They are fine looking! It must be an early model given out for testing, cause I really thought they weren't hitting dealerships until late Spring or early Summer.

Why would they test it in Texas? To see if it can drive in a straight line? ;D

ooohhh, that hurts! :-\

Really though, the west texas hill country is absolutely fantastic riding country, just not what you think about when you think texas, but contrary to popular belief, we don't all ride horses either!

Yeah... but the bike is in Houston... off I-10... you can drive I-10 between Houston and San Antonio in your sleep... set the cruise control and set the wheel to straight... unless the rider decided to take 71 out of Columbus through the hills out to Austin... other than that... I see no other test possibly being done other than maybe dealer tour or top speed testing...

David Bonderman is principal, general partner and founder of Texas Pacific
Group (TPG), and they own 51% of Ducati. And he lives in the Dallas area.

Maybe thats why some of the new Ducati are showing up in Texas.

I'm guessing it might have been a setup/break-in run, to get it ready for magazine testing (wherever that happens... *:)

That's my guess. *But I don't even know where that gas station is... *:P
