Oh and most people (I've never seen it) don't ride around with the red key on the ring.
No to suggest that it isn't the real deal, but the brake master cylinders and calipers are currently available on the Aprilia Mille (I could go to the MTI shop and take pictures of Andrew Wright's `97 M900 set up like that). Can't tell much about the fender other than it is a Ohlins specific fender.

Why someone would spend all that time to build a spoof, I wouldn't know. The rest of the room as you can see it in the pic of the exhaust does look reminiscient of the interior of the Ducati factory and the several white S2R 1000s in the background of the master cylinder pic give it some credibillity.

Still a mock up.* Stripes don't match up from fairing to tank.* Exhaust/mirrors won't be those either.
No, that's the real deal. 8)

And those most certainly ARE 999 heads. I'm quite certain that is the real deal right there. I like it. Of course, who wouldn't want ohlins front and back with a 999 powerplant??? BTW, how much you selling your s4R for scott? ;D I KNOW it's only a matter of time...

Regarding the fender. As I said if you buy R/T's or the DP kit you end up using a SBK style fender and that one is not a SBK fender but a Monster fender.

Looks like a 999 style fender (or Aprilia) to me with the bolts on each side of the fork.*

it's just a DP fender fromt he Monster accessories catalog. it's been available since 2002.

BTW, i have the first order in Canada on a S4 RS.

that bike in the pictures IS the real deal, i know someone who has seen it in the flesh over a month ago, it was the only one at the time. i just couldn't tell you (until next week) because he made me swear. but now that everyone has seen it. the cat is out of the bag a week before the unveiling. oh snappp ! :

That's a black tubular swing arm by the look of it.

I will be really disappointed if they have a 999 front wheel and a 5 spoke rear. The 999 style is available in SSS and they hack it together? Seems wrong to me. :-\

So they've basically taken an S4r, put a 999 front end on it, put in the testastretta motor (no small feat), ohlins shock, powder coated the swingarm and put some other aftermarket parts on it? Aside from the motor, it's just aftermarket stuff isn't it?

it appears that they are setting up a booth for a show, see the blue boxes and guys working..* most likely for the Milan show.* The bike in the picture would most likely be an accessorised version (termi's) of what looks like may actually be the mythical S4RS - strictly a guess* :-X
