Default 3 days. 1200+ miles. We're Baaaaaaack...

I know this has been covered before, but my attempts at searching didn't turn up anything relevant.

Me, Swanny, and Mike (not on the DML yet, rides an M750) Got a three-day ride starting tomorrow (details - http://www.ducatimonster.org/smf/ind...c,32554.0.html) and I'm wondering if I'm forgetting anything important for the backpack.* We'll be staying at friends/family's places, so here's what I'm thinking... space is at a premium.

cellphone (and charger!)
credit cards
chain wax
snazzy new mp3 player, headphones
camera
batteries
toothbrush, toothpaste, etc...
advil, misc. vitamins
three days worth of t-shirts, underwear, socks
riding pants, extra pair jeans, shorts
textile jacket, liner, and a sweatshirt
hat (for helmet-head)
riding boots, flip-flops
bungee cords
Duct Tape (you F'ing know it!* [thumbsup])
allen-wrench set
talcum powder (I've heard it works miracles...)
80-mile old Pilot Power rear... w00t!

So the question is - am I forgetting anything?

This weekend is gonna be awesome...* *8)

Ditch the extra pair of jeans. *I have made arrangements for our jeans to be washed on Friday night. *Then we should be able to ride two days with clean jeans and one day in not so clean jeans.

Don't forget your swimming trucks. ;D *My dad will have the burgers on the grill, the beer on ice, and the hot tub ready to go so we and relax after the long day of riding. [thumbsup]

Dang was it nice riding into work this morning. *I forgot what it was like to ride in sub 90 degree temps.

This is going to be awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wait, so you want me to get in your dad's hot tub not wearing swimming tru[n]ks? That might be kinda weird...

Let's see three days, you'll need A LOT of pink ribbon, and definitely a new jacket with extreme amounts of tassles. That should be enough for your ilk. [cheeky]

You're not my type DucTape. *You are a little to prissy and high maintenance for me. ;D *Sorry to ruin your hopes.

Sounds like a great time, guys!

Here's a suggestion (if you haven't already thought of it):

Split up items that you'll only need one of. For example, everybody doesn't need to bring chain wax. Or advil. Or duct tape. Stuff like that. Don't get weighed down with things you can share during the trip.

Note: this does NOT apply to underwear or pink tassels for handlebars. Everyone needs their own of those.

....or we just make DucTape our pack mule and make him carry it all. He's the slowest anyways.

its probably already on your belt, but just in case its not.... leatherman. It was the most useful thing I took on my 1200 m ride when after a slight, ahem, mishap, I needed to replace my front right footpeg with the passenger footpeg ..

Good idea. I will put my leatherman in my backpack tonight.
