Default Renting Ducati motorcycles

I heard a rumor that Ducati owners can rent bikes from the factory in Bologna… Is this true? Has anyone done this?
I would like to know because I will be there in the middle of August.

Dean, You CAN rent bikes from bologna. They have a pretty extensive rental fleet. I'm looking in to doing the same thing in 2007, so I've been doing some research. Send me an e-mail and I'll send you the spreadsheet of bikes and rental prices. If you are a member of an "offical" ducati owners club, you get a discount.

Any chance you can post that spreadsheet or send me a copy? I'm sure there are others who would be interested. I'm not going myself but a friend of mine is going this fall.

I too, would like a copy of that info. I've been trying to get my wife to do some touring - we're going to be there in a couple of weeks.

The only info I have is that from July 29 to Aug. 29 the factory and museum pretty much shut down for holidays. During this time you can't visit the factory or rent any bikes from them. Go figure... that is when I'm going to be there.
