The literature and logo around the site said Mr. Motorcycle something or other. I'll see if I can find any more particulars by looking through some other pics.

bo-oi-oing
I need me one of those, despite the ugly engine components.

chain sure looks tight. and with that much power, how could you ever harness it, you'd always be on the back wheel.

My experiance ...

Turbo dudes ALWAYS tell you what the HP WOULD BE at max boost. What they don't tell you is you can't run max boost w/o blowing a gasket or melting the turbo.
That 206 is the bike owners wet dream ... more real world is probably around 20 to 30% increase ... stock s4r is 113 so that's like 135.

Still noting to shack your dick at, but a loooong way from 206!!!

"melting the turbo"... your kidding right? I dont find it hard to believe at all. Assuming this guy/shop fabricated the turbo system....... I would also assume that they built the motor for boost. I think its great and I love the fact that its intercooled. I would love some more details.

i have seen hyabusas pushing 350 with turbo, over 600hp with turbo and nitrous. I bet a 4valve ducati motor could do 170+ with some head work and crank and rods(not to mention corsa cases, stock would crack and lose bearings)

That might be true sometimes, maybe even usually, but not _ALWAYS_...

There's a crowd here in Sydney called S & R Pro who do a lot of turbo bikes - I've seen their little 250cc Yamaha Zeal with a dyno chart showing 84hp - and they only stopped there 'cause it was doing 16,000rpm and the bottom end had never been opened so they didn't want to push it any further. They've got a dyno chart on their site (http://www.sandrpro.com/) of a 415hp 'busa running "only" 18 lbs boost, a 225hp GSXR1000 running 6lbs... Some "turbo guys" _do_ back up their claims with both dyno charts and timeslips :-)

I wouldn't be _too_ surprised by an S4 getting an 80% hp increase from a properly designed and built system running 15lbs or so of boost - it'd be a pretty expensive job to make it reliable though...

I wish my S4R was pishing 117. I would settle for 113. Its all hype. I agree. That Turbo S4R is real world would be lucky to see 140-150 hp. Would of could of means jack.
