dianese torque. I just got them like 2 months ago. I haven't gotten on my bike since then without them.

My only 'issue' is like most people my feet are slightly different sizes and the 42's fit my right foot great, and the 41's were too small to even get on.

They're "normal" looking enough that i can wear them in the store and such without feeling like a storm trooper.

I wear my prosport boots all the time. Not the best out there, but not bad. Looking for general heal, ankle, and foot protection. Ankles have no abrasion protection along with feet in general. We tend to need our feet, so I invested.

Sidi-saved me once, that's enough for me. Buy them they have less expensive pair for under $200, mine were $300, I have little buyers remorse. Especially if you have wide feet and size 47, that's as big as I could go, really could have used a 48.

I have a set of pretty nice Sidi's (i think they are called the Vertigo) I wear for fun rides and commuting.. Otherwise I wear Sambas (soccer shoes). They fit my feet and the plastic toe protector is replaceable (I scrape it quite often)..

+1 (although they were bicycling shoes).

Sidis fit my feet well; I have two pairs. The Vertigo Tepors aren't really waterproof in an extended downpour or if someone splashes a puddle passing you while you're waiting to turn.

I also have a pair of Canyons that I bought for a motorcycle tour (Vertigos aren't very walkable) and also to use when I take a passenger since they have lugged soles. These have a Goretex liner and are much more effective in the rain, but less armor and no ankle torsion protection.
