Default Vanson Hurricane jacket

Vanson was running a 15% off sale on Friday and Saturday, and I couldn't help myself - I ordered a Hurricane in Lemon Yellow and black. I like the bright color for visibility.

A picture is attached (this is a ladies version, but it looks about the same).

The "Hurricane" is basically a two-tone version of the ProPerf (fully-perforated) Sportrider. Likewise, the "Lightning" is just a two-tone version of the "Cobra", which isn't fully perforated, but has front, sleeve and back vents. (Their web site is not that clear about how the various models differ.) The Cobra/Lightning have pretty good ventilation, but not quite as good as the ProPerf Sportrider/Hurricane.

Vanson's leather, construction quality, and armor are excellent. They take a while to break in, but should last a lifetime.

They run sales several times a year so if you want one and can wait for a sale you'll save around $100.

I just posted a thread about a Vanson kit that I sold to a friend last month. It was the Falcon Jacket with full MotoGP armor. It looks almost exactly like your jacket. He crashed tested it yesterday and he walked away unhurt. Vanson makes some good gear.

I would recommend you upgrade to the full MotoGP armor.
