Default Super serious winter gloves

I know there is post from a few months ago asking about winter gloves but want to be a bit more specific here. Want pretty much the ultimate in warmth while still some pretty good safety of course.
Like mentioned previously the dainese jericho is on the list. Not too worried about price but am a pussy in the winter really wanting to be snug. Where I live in Australia plenty of good winter riding through snowy alps/mountains.
In summer even 40 degrees(we do Celsius here) doesn't bother me in full leathers with barely a sweat at lights or walking around. So love heat way more than most but also hare cold more too.
From reading looks like jericho's a good winter glove but wondering if in minus degrees there is warmer. Don't have grip earners either n not gonna have em any time soon.
Spent 1st winter just past in summer racing gloves after car died n believe me I didn't like it

think about it.
you've got the tiny amount of heat that your hands produce (that you are trying to maintain) inside the glove vs. freezing air moving at road speed outside the glove.
it's impossible for any glove that offers you enough dexterity and "feel" to compete against that cold moving air.
eventually (and probably, too soon) your hands are gonna' get cold.

this is the only real answer........

of course, there's always heated grips with HippoHands

I appreciate that answer but still wonder if can do better than dainese Jericho for winter without heated or if they about as good as it gets without heated. If didn't need mbike safety could just get reg good snow gloves. Haven't tried them yet maybe they great

+1 on a heat source being the only sure answer. I had responded to a prior post that the Jerico's were good, and I still feel they are, but they do have limitations and I'd find it hard to believe that any other unheated winter glove would fare much better as the jericos are pretty bomb proof in their own rite (perhaps something with a lobstered finger might hold out a little longer). But upon further riding I've got to say once the temperature drops low 30s and below, its only a matter of time before your finger tips start to go numb (and its only the finger tips not elsewhere in the hand). High 20s and high winds on the way home tonight, I was sheltering my clutch hand behind my leg after about 20 min to cut down on the throbbing. Also +1 on long haired dogs to get the feeling back to your finger tips.

Again I appreciate the info but I am quite stubborn n gonna get standard non heated. Did read all about heated, sounds good. Maybe will learn lesson later n try heated. Have a few mnths this part of world before I will need em. If anyone else has other suggestions, non heated for my stubborn ass or review of planned purch dainese Jericho before then that would b great.

This is where I am headed NEXT winter!!
http://gerbing.com/Products/Gloves/hybridGlove.php
Hoping to FINALLY get out this weekend as the weather is predicted to be above 50F...
The Gerbing Hybrids have their own rechargeable batteries and require no plug-in to work - an issue on my OLD M900 -
$300 US WITH batteries and chargers - will easily add 3 months to my "season"...
Hoping for a FALL (2012) Christmas gift from my family!!
Best...

I use Held warm & dry. Work well with both heated & standard grips.

Heat gloves rule. You can get a pigtail to adapt the coaxial plug of your gloves to a Battery Tender harness so you don't need a second harness on your battery.

Ok I got the dainese Jericho coz almost no one listened when I kept saying non heated and winter us on it's way here, got a good deal on them and I do need waterproof ones. If u guys are correct and heated is only way to go I will put heated grips and resurrect this post and let u all know how you were right and should be listened to at the start. June, July time is coldest time here so that's when they get tested.
