Just wanted some advice on alarms out there. Got a 2010 696 Monster, think its got the standard immobiliser but want a bit more security. Don't want to spend massive amounts on it just want it to stop any toe-rags trying to steal it.
Ive had the scorpio which works pretty good, but if someone wants your bike, they will take it.
If you just want noise, the disc brake lock w/ built in alarm is the cheaper way to go.
I also have the Scorpio SR-i1100. The installation was a little challenging because there aren't any fairing to hide all of the sensors and equipment, but my shop did a good job at the installation. I feel like they have a much more robust solution than LoJack.
