Default Famsa Art. 710 - Seat/Tail Bag on Monster?

Hi guys. Have been reading a lot of great threads on tank/tail bags for my monster (07' S4RS so it has a plastic tank of course). Thanks to all for their reviews and posts. As always, a great source of info.

Think I may go with the Famsa or Givi tankbag, but was wondering if anyone has seen/used/heard of the "Famsa Art. 710 - Seat Bag" being used on the monster? I have high mount Zard's so can't do any side bags.

Here is the link to Biker World's page on it (it's near the bottom):

http://www.bikerworldusa.com/famsa.html

I have seen other posts regarding the larger Art. 608 - Saddle bag (35 liters), but the 710 might look like it would sit on the back pad nicely, and is great at 22 liters. (using it just for the odd 3-4 day trip, not for commuting).

I did find a picture on a site showing it on a Monster, but I can't quite tell how it's mounted, since the picture on their website shows the side bags as well:

If anyone has any feedback on this puppy, would appreciate hearing!!

Cheers,
Greg

Hi, a bit late replying to this, but I picked up some links from my site (www.windingroads.co.uk) from here and thought I'd respond.

The FA710 is a smallish bag with 3 seperate compartments and is ideally suited to weekend trips, pushing 3-4 days would need a tank bag as well really. I've got one myself and 4 days was really the limit. I've got a 9 day trip coming up and for that I'll use the FA608 Travel Bag which is much more suited.

Coming back to the question of how the FA710 mounts, the bag zips to a base for easy fitting and removal, and the base is fixed with a combination of either straps or bungi's depending on the bike (both fixings are supplied).

I've imported FAMSA products to the UK for 5 years now, and the quality is really good and up to OE standards, with nice design touches and easy use.

I've added a couple of pictures showing how the base and bag fix to the bike (in this case a Multistrada).

Please note - I'm happy to answer any other questions, but if you want to purchase, I don't ship to the US, as it's much cheaper and quicker for you to buy direct from Biker World in the US.

I've got a Monster 695 and use the Cortech tailbag. Whatever kind you get, make sure it doesn't cover the taillight. There's not a lot of room back there.
