Default My Arai smells funky...

Arai signet GT...I presumed that I could remove the liner/inside of the helmet, and clean it with lukewarm water and mild detergent.
But I can only remove the cheek pieces, the rest is glued??
Any solutions??

Take it in the shower... no don't wear it! Flip it upside down and scrub it out with shampoo. Then let it dry. Or don't... up to you.

1.) Put it in the freezer for a couple of days. The cold temp will kill most of the bact/fungi causing the bad smell.

2.) Clean with some warm soapy water, let it dry.

rock out

Yes, I have seen manufacturer's recommend complete immersion and soap. Just let it dry in the sun.

if it was in a damp cell then it was probably getting a little bit moldy. I'd just soak it with water and wash it with Johnson's baby shampoo. If that still doesnt get rid of the smell, toss the lid and get a new one. Next time don't leave anything in that damp cellar.
