Ipod Listeners: What are the best ear buds for wearing under a helmet?
Sometimes I like to listen to music while riding, but I can't seem to find ear buds to use with my Ipod that stay in my ears when I put my helmet on and are actually comfortable. Suggestions?

I know some people that don't like these, but I swear by them and I use them for lifting, running, computer work, and riding.
I can ride for 5 hours without my ears hurting with these in.

I have Shure earbuds with foam inserts. Rubber inserts make my ears sweat. :-X

Re: Ipod Listeners: What are the best ear buds for wearing under a helmet?
I use the shure e4c and love the sound and clarity they output. I can't wear them riding though - with my Shark helmet any earbud is difficult due to the padding over the ear.
I'm looking into a custom molded bud (the shure's earphones support this use) at a local hearing specialist (should cost around 100). when done they will fit perfectly in my ear with no protrusions.

Shure E2c's have always worked well for me.

Custom works great, but pricey.

Re: Ipod Listeners: What are the best ear buds for wearing under a helmet?
One of the problems I have with ear buds is that I have an ear piercing, a tragus piercing, on my right ear that means that a lot of ear buds won't fit snug in my right ear. I guess I might have to go with a custom made ear canal type of bud.

shure e4c's all the way, i use the rubber 3 layered noise blocking ones. there great if you dont mind plunging them deep into your ears. i use them for cutting grass, lifting, biking, under my helmet, lifting, anything. great quality and they block out tons of noise, esp from the my louder cored pipes which saves my hearing
