Default Joe Rocket Gear??

OK Im done stewing in my own juices in my Vanson Cobra during the warm weather. Recently saw the Joe Rocket textile, armored jacket. Looks good, price is good and it looks like it does what I need it to do.

Any other warm/hot weather gear that I should consider?

Eh, summer time is when you'll be more likely to rip open the throttle, id go with perf leather, or if its strictly for sane commuting speeds, id go with mesh jacket. I have 3 pieces of JR gear, they are all pretty well made. Except the zippers on my waterproof winter overpants, they suck. otherwise good stuff.

+1 I went with JR gear when I first got my bike b/c it had solid reviews at a fraction of the cost of A*, Icon, etc. I am very happy with all of it so far, especially the Phoenix 4.0 mesh jacket -- great mesh jacket for the 95 degree CA heat today.

I have an old JR Phoenix 2.0 that is doing alright but I did have a small lowside where I melted the mesh a bit on the arm. That's got me worried as it didn't tear, it melted. I've been saving for a new jacket but have yet to buy anything. Been looking at the Cortech meshes for everyday use and perfed leather for serious riding.

I just picked this up, and am very happy with it. Fully perforated leather. Haven't had opportunity to test it out on a really hot day yet, but it flows air everywhere. I plan on wearing this at temperatures into the 90's. Plus, the price is right.

Cant beat that price! I used to have a fully perfed Vanson and it was still hot. I dig the open mesh front of the A* and the JR.
