Default Cortech tri bag tail bag with sport saddlebags???

It looks like everyone who has bought the Cortech tri-bag tail bag / saddlebags system is pretty happy with it. There is a regular option, and a "sport" option, which is smaller, but more tailored toward sport bikes.

My question is has anyone tried to hook the standard tail-bag to the sport saddlebags?

I'd like the larger tail bag, but the regular saddle bags look like they might be too bulky. I have a cheaper set of Tourmasters right now, that really encrouch on the area normally occupied by my feet. I thought going with the "sport" saddlebags might help remedy that situation.

From the pictures on newenough.com, it looks like it should work without a problem, but I was wondering if anyone has first hand experience.

Your input, as always, is appreciated.

Its been my expierence with Cortech, you can mix and match no problem. I've owned 2 sets that didn't 'match', and was quite happy with how they fit, etc.

Yeah, that is how it appeared from the pictures. That could seal it, then (I am encouragable).
