Default opening a Shark visor

I just got a Shark RSX and I'm having a difficult time opening the visor at stoplights. it's held in the closed position with a little brass button that protrudes into a hole in the visor it's very difficult to open with the right hand (I ussualy stay in gear with a hand on the clutch at lights)

my question is does it break in with time and get easier to open? does any one else have this issue with their shark?

other than that it's a great helmet.

With the way it's designed if you're trying to open it with your right hand it would be harder to do. I suppose if you loosened up the two small allen screws near the pivot that help hold the shield on it might make it a little easier. Those screws (and the tabs they go through) control the friction of the visor when it's open so you don't want to loosen them too far.

If I'm riding in town I usually crack my visor just a bit the whole time. You could also try opening it just before you come to a stop with your left hand.

+1 on the open before the light. That's what I do. Works like a charm. ;D

cool. that shouldn't be hard to get used to.

It's weird these visors don't have a tab.
