The thought here was to share with everyone those deals on quality stuff that are just too good to pass up
Last year Newenough had Teknic one-piece suits for great prices. It was a great opportunity to get a beginner's track suit at a steal but not everyone saw it soon enough.
Personal experience with the product and company would help.
(For example, my Teknic suit from last year is very well constructed and newenough will take returns for size even on closeouts).
Ironpony's Icon helmet sale is still on (as of 7/5/07). Mostly what is left for the great deal is extra small, but you can find a small too (and maybe an extra large in one color). Great for adding a spare helmet to your collection for occasional guests.
It's last year's Alliance model with the pop-up vent on the top. Fit and finish are good. They will not take back closeout items for sizing.

They have a few Teknic Daytona women's Jackets left and Venom pants. The jacket is fully perforated with a zip-out lining and zips to the venom pants. The outfit is well armored. The jacket has both 8 and full circumference zips, but the pants come with only the 8 inch. You could add the bottom half of the full zip to the pants. Entire outfit less than $150. With this price there's no excuse for pillions to have no gear or inferior gear.
